  • Superior Waste & Recycling, owned by Dennis O’Connor,  is located at 2 Kansas Street, Worcester, MA

 

  • In 2009, Dennis O’Connor bought two trash hauling businesses as the foundation for his new business – Superior Waste and Recycling. Those businesses were Anthony’s Rubbish Removal of Millbury, and Talking Trash Removal of Auburn, MA. Both were managed by part-time owners
  • Superior Waste & Recycling is a full service waste removal enterprise managed full time by its owner Dennis O’Connor. Its commercial and residential services include: waste removal, clean outs, junk pickup, electronic waste pickups, roll offs and dumpsters. Superior also offers 24 hour service.

 

  • A customized recycling service will be introduced in September 2009. The Count- Your-Green program will include weighing customers’ recyclables and providing them with regular tracking reports so they can realize their personal impact on the environment

An Experienced Owner

  • Importantly, although the business is new, Dennis O’Connor is not new to the waste removal business and Superior Waste & Recycling is his full time job:

 

    • Dennis put himself through college by driving a trash truck-sometimes attending classes in his work clothes.
    • From college he remained in the industry and worked himself through the ranks and into senior management positions with several companies.

 

    • Dennis was a partner in a truck hauling business, Mattei-Flynn Trucking for four years; the company was later sold.
    • During his business career he also worked for Browning Ferris Industries in sales; his territory encompassed Auburn, MA, Bangor, Maine and New York.

 

    • At Waste Management Inc, a waste concern based out of Houston, TX, he served as district manager in Springfield and then for Central Massachusetts.
